YWIB-Southern California: Beyond the Kitchen – STEM Can Be so Sweet!

Do you love to cook and bake? What about science? Join us for our first baking event led by scientist Dr. Olivia Molinar-Inglis! You will learn what skills that you use regularly in the kitchen can be transferred to a career in STEM and what STEM principles govern the success of your bake.
Dr. Molinar-Inglis will lead us in a recipe for pound cake and then while our cakes are in the oven we will have a career panel featuring several female scientists that love to bake. Registrants will receive a list of the ingredients and kitchen equipment needed to bake along with the presenter.
