WIB-Southern California: Leadership Seminar – Maximize Your Volunteering Role to Advance Your Career

November 3, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Kim Meninger, Executive Coach | Women’s Leadership Coach & Consultant | Speaker | Impostor Syndrome Files

We all know that volunteering offers personal benefits – a sense of purpose, opportunity to connect with others, and great programming – but we often underestimate the effects volunteering can have on our careers. When done strategically, volunteering can empower us to grow as leaders, fill critical skills gaps and expand our networks of advocates and mentors.

In this interactive session, we will:

  • Explore the benefits of volunteering in building your leadership skills
  • Examine opportunities to contribute that align with diverse strengths/interests
  • Identify actionable strategies to maximize your role as a volunteer
  • How these skills and networking can contribute to advancing your career
