The Problem Solvers: Nurse Innovators Taking On COVID-19 Patient Care Challenges
September 23, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am
As the backbone of our healthcare system and innovators on the frontlines of healthcare, nurses are natural problem-solvers who have the training, patient insights and know-how to improve patient care and profoundly change lives.
The onset of COVID-19 has further exposed challenges in our healthcare system, where nurses can be uniquely capable of innovating and driving new solutions. From designing and sourcing PPE, proning patients, and communicating with families, nurses have proven their ability to be innovative throughout the pandemic.
Join us September 23rd for a fireside chat with leaders from Johnson & Johnson, the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders (SONSIEL), and more, to learn about the newest Nurses Innovate QuickFire Challenge, and how nurses are uniquely positioned to innovate in this space and to help find solutions to improving COVID-19 patient care.
In connection with our overall commitment to supporting frontline healthcare workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson & Johnson in partnership with the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and the Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders (SONSIEL), has launched the J&J Nurses Innovate QuickFire Challenge: COVID-19 Patient Care. We are calling on nurse innovators to submit ideas for the chance to receive up to $100,000 in grant funding and mentorship from the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
Submit your application to the Johnson & Johnson Nurses Innovation QuickFire Challenge in COVID-19 Patient Care here. Applications are due September 29, 2020.
