Grants are an important source of funding for early-stage companies. Once you’ve won a grant, you’ve got to know how to manage the grant. Effective grant compliance requires an understanding of requirements and a plan to adhere to those requirements. From an accounting perspective, that means having a system to translate compliance terms into policies and procedures.
This workshop will provide an overview of budget tracking and reporting, labor cost allocation, and internal controls. And you’ll hear what it’s like to prepare for an audit when you have your systems in place–and what to expect if you don’t.
