Bob joined Omnica in 1990 with one of the more diverse backgrounds of the engineering staff. After leaving Indiana and Purdue University he took a position with Starcraft where he designed recreation vehicles and boats and later worked with Steel Rule Die Maker, Midas (RV division, Bill of Materials analysis), Omnicraf, Display Works (trade show exhibit design) and RTI (designing digital circuit boards).

At Omnica he designs sophisticated components and fully integrated systems while in addition to programming custom software applications as an R&D tool. He plays a key role in preparing the detailed engineering documentation for design transfers to manufacturing. He is skilled at refining mechanical designs and assemblies and writes custom software programs for internal use such as our signature project tracking and billing system as well as our computerized event calendar program.
