Prototyping and Modelmaking                          to contact us, call  949-472-0275

We have assembled one of the most well-equipped modelmaking and prototyping shops on the West Coast. These in-house capabilities allow us to effectively support our other technical departments, and frequently trim weeks from a project development schedule.

Prototyping, Modelmaking, and Rapid Machining

Based on your needs we can use many methods to model and prototype the first articles of your project. The best choice could depend on cost, accuracy, speed, appearance, ruggedness, or any combination of the above. Whatever the decision, we can do it here.

We can prototype and build first articles of everything we design.

Visit our facility and you will see fully-equipped machine, sheet metal, wood, urethane casting/molding shops, electronics assembly and testing areas, a process development lab, injection molding machines, FDM rapid modelmaking, and a professional paint spray booth to add the finishing touch to prototypes and models.

Faster prototype development
Andy Scherer, or Senior Mechanical Engineer explains, "Our tools allow us to significantly speed the development process. We have extensive in-house machinery resources, so we use fewer outside contractors to execute tooling and parts design changes. We don't have to put projects on hold because of their lead times."

Mike Ammerman, our model shop manager can build just about anything. Click here to read about (and see) his extensive skills.

We recommend  LeVic Plastics for aluminum and steel molds and injection-molded parts. They have been one of our preferred vendors for over 20 years.
