We have one position available:  Senior Project Engineer.

Position:    Senior Project Engineer

Qualifications:
You should possess strong design/development aptitude and experience in the medical or scientific field.  You must be committed to creative excellence.  You need strong communication skills and must have the ability to work with the client and multiple managers to complete work timely and efficiently.  You must also have a willingness to be challenged by fellow team members while maintaining a friendly personality and the ability to work well within the team.  You must be willing and able to adapt your professional expertise and success strategies in ways that will mesh with the Omnica culture.  In addition, you must meet the following specific qualifications:

  • College degree and 10+ years of design/development relevant practice in a scientific discipline (a knowledge of electronics or software is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a “hands-on” organization with a horizontal reporting structure (machine tool experience a plus).
  • Client/account management experience
  • Prior experience working in a small entrepreneurial environment

Job Description:
Full time product design engineer.  You will be asked to make significant creative contributions as part of an interdisciplinary team to project design solutions.  You will occasionally act as a primary client contact.  3D CAD  experience required. You will report directly to the president and vice president.
