| It's Sunday at the park. |
Everyone brought food and games. |
Kathryn and Bill dressed for the sun. |
Most were in T-shirts and shorts. |
| Earl starts the food line. |
Tamura and Kevin Oberkramer |
The Mossbergs ate, |
while Lana and Joe joked around. |
| We did our best to stay cool |
Linna Cubbage and Liz Dowding. |
We played played balloon toss, |
and some game with water |
| and running, |
and dowsing each other's faces. |
We prepared for the real competition. |
THE BALLOON LAUNCH! |
| Tim burst on the scene with a launcher that used
articulated ladder on wheels, |
and loops of surgical tubing. When he launched
water balloons, |
they flew over 200 ft. Whoa! |
We caught them with a plastic sheet. |
| Others made a human slingshot, |
that sometimes caused a shower, |
or reached a target off in the distance. |
Jared was prepared for impact, |
| while we relaxed in the shade. |
Carol certainly dressed for the occasion. |
Andy and Mercury Scherer laughed, |
while Jared dunked young Ryan March. |
| The kids had a great time. |
Jared and Ryan were wet all day long. |
Guilia Gleason and Alysa (Bob Fish's
granddaughter). |
Marlene Cubbage cooking hot dogs. |
| Lots of food. |
And many water balloons. |
Tim and Kevin discuss the aftermath. |
A wet Jared talks with G.F. Liz. |
| The Cubbage family |
How many more Cokes do you want? |
Cathy and Antonella have a few laughs. |
Finally . . . peace in park again. |
